Community Partners

by Lorraine Blahnik last modified 03/12/2008

As a community servant, CPCC has a long history of working with the community to improve the region’s quality of life.  CPCC works closely with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte Regional Partnership, and the Carolinas Regional Workforce Development Partners to serve as a critical link between workforce development and economic growth.

With the increasing need for skilled workers to keep the economic vitality of our region alive, there are many reasons why community partners turn to us.  CPCC serves as the single point of entry for state resources to help fund worker training through our New & Expanding Industry Training projects, Focused Industry Training funds, and the Incumbent Workforce Development Grants.  As a comprehensive community college, CPCC offers an array of services from career counseling to community outreach to ensure that Charlotte and Mecklenburg County continue to be a rich place for new partnerships to grow.
