Network & Web Access

Central Piedmont Community College offers an array of technology tools to our instructors.
Instructors must complete a request form on the online account management site.
Directions for completing form are below.
You will be issued a username name and password from the ITS dept.
Please note that you are encouraged to change your password to one that best suits your needs. In addition, you will be required by the system to change your password EVERY 6 MONTHS.
Your Username and Password provide you access to:
- Instructor Email Account - http://owa.cpcc.edu
- Online Course Management Systems (Blackboard and Moodle)
- WebAdvisor (Rosters, Reporting Grades) - http://webemployee.cpcc.edu
- Access to the CPCC Network while on campus - ITS Resource page
- Wireless Access while on campus - ITS Wireless information site
- Class Email Tools - ITS Class Email List site
- SMART Classroom Assistance - ITS SMART Room
Directions for completing the online NETWORK ACCOUNT FORMS: Employees requesting a network account must perform the following steps:
- Browse to http://phoenix.cpcc.edu
- Left-Click Account Administration
- Left-Click I Agree
- Enter in User Information
- Left-Click Continue
- Enter in Department Information and Optional Access
- Left-Click Continue
Note: Information entered within this request must be exact. Since the request is a hard-copy of the user and department information, all information must be up to date, and cannot be edited at a later date. Any request which includes out-of-date or incorrect information must be denied and re-submitted.
