Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
BUS 7430
Whether you are a member of a quality team, a quality manager, or desire to obtain a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, this course would be appropriate for you. Corporate and Continuing Education is proud to offer a breakthrough strategy, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. This course blends classroom instruction and on-line instructor-led labs.
Six Sigma, the powerful management program that has revolutionized the world’s top corporations, is now offered on-line through Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE). The benefits of implementing Six Sigma are lowering costs, improving profitability, increasing market share, and more.
While there are no national standards in place to become certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt at present, this course provides the tools to achieve a local certification through CPCC. Corporate and Continuing Education is building a series of courses focusing on quality, of which this is one (and course BUS 8116, Project Management Program, is another). This website will be updated as we add additional quality-related courses.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Program highlights include:
How to implement the DMAIC process (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control),
How to develop reliable and valid measurements for a system,
How to define the cost of poor quality,
How to use the correct formula to calculate ROI, and more.
After successfully completing this intensive blended course, individuals will receive a CPCC certificate and be awarded 4.6 CEUs (continuing education units).
This course blends classroom instruction with on-line assignments/exams. There are 24 hours of required instructor-led classroom sessions every other week during the session and approximately 22 hours of on-line activities. On-line hours may vary per student based on knowledge and skill. There are no pre-requisites to taking this course. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate and be awarded 4.6 CEUs (continuing education units).
This course typically meets every other week for three or four hours at one of our convenient multi-campus locations. The cost of this 46-hour course is $1345 and includes materials. There is an additional $4 CAPS (campus access, parking, security fee) per course (for all CCE courses).
