  • I have two passions – teaching and travel – what could be a better match than teaching travel classes at CPCC?
 
Career Accomplishments:
  • Former speech/language pathologist with CMS
  • Completion of travel program at CPCC
  • Earned the Accredited Cruise Counselor certification from Cruise Line International Association
  • Sales Specialist for Marriott, Celebrity, Carnival, NCL and Sandals Resorts
 
Experience in your Field:
  • Owned my own home based travel business
  • Worked for Visit Charlotte as a visitor information specialist
  • Developed the Charlotte 101 class and provide training and tours on Charlotte as a destination
 
Primary Areas of Interest:
  • Selling travel and learning about destinations
  • Local Charlotte history and attractions
  • Building travel and tourism businesses at home

  • Served on the Faculty Advisory Board for Personal Interest classes in the CPCC Continuing Education Department
